Since 2014, the United Boxing Club Corporate Challenge boxing matches have been a highlight of the Melee Gala! Over the years, these thrilling white-collar boxing matches have enthralled audiences and helped raise over $100,000 for local charities, significantly impacting their ability to provide services to the community. This year, we’re proud to announce our partnership with United Way Winnipeg, whose mission aligns with our own of improving lives and strengthening the community. Additionally, for the first time ever, we’re excited to hold the Melee Gala at the state-of-the-art Club Regent Events Centre.

For those unfamiliar with the event, the Corporate Challenge is the fundraising segment of the Melee Gala, where novice boxers undergo twelve weeks of training with UBC’s experienced coaches, culminating in a September competition. Throughout the training period, participants solicit donations, which are tracked by the charity.

 

Furthermore, boxers are sponsored by local businesses, presenting a unique marketing opportunity. Sponsors' brands will adorn boxer apparel on fight night, and their logos will be prominently featured on social media and other platforms where the boxers are showcased.
